Meet Kayla Crawford, LMHC

About Me

Hello and thanks for stopping by. I am passionate about helping women overcome depression, anxiety, traumatic experiences, and dissociative responses. This work strengthens the ability to maintain peace and calmness while building healthier, more secure relationships.

In the past, I experienced difficulties trusting others and my petals were withered. After starting my own healing journey, I have found a sense of security for myself and attainment within my relationships.

I bring almost 20 years of experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, working with at-risk youth, families, and adults. My work has included individual and family counseling, anger management, parenting psycho-educational classes, and group therapy that supported young people in advocating for their mental health needs.

Outside of my professional life, I believe in balance. I enjoy brunching, shopping, reading, baking cakes, and exercising. I am a girl mom and enjoy getting my nails done by my artistic daughter. I also have a fur baby ( Shih Tzu) by the name of Kenji.

Vision

My vision is to see women making decisions confidently and navigating relationships effortlessly.

Mission

Empowering women to gain self efficacy and acceptance of past experiences, to thrive in overwhelming life moments.
Core Values: Individuality, Authenticity and Curiosity.

Empowering Women to Heal, Build Confidence, and Thrive in Relationships

I currently assist women who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in their healing journey. Together, we begin addressing relational wounds so you can navigate relationships with greater confidence, security, and ease.

I help you increase your self-confidence in decision-making while identifying your unique attachment style and understanding how it shapes your relationships. This awareness allows you to connect more securely with others and build stronger, healthier bonds.

In our work, I also guide you in recognizing emotional triggers—helping you move from reactive patterns to more intentional responses, so your needs can be expressed in a calm and non-threatening way.

How I assist

I provide a safe and supportive space for authenticity. My therapeutic approach is collaborative: we work together to identify your strengths and needs, while gently unrooting challenges that may be holding you back.

Through psychoeducation, coping skills, and behavior changes, we reduce symptoms and increase resilience. When trauma work is needed, I assist you in addressing emotional responses tied to past experiences so you can move forward with clarity and strength.
